  18. Play it Cool is a QuickTime movie player and simple movie editor. 
  19. It is a ‘fat application’ — it contains code for both 680x0 Mac and Power Mac computers.

  21. It plays all types of QuickTime movies — Video, MIDI, Sound, Text, Sprite — separately or in combination.

  23. Requirements
  24. 68020 Macintosh — 68040 or PowerPC preferred.
  25. Hard disk (any size).
  26. 1 MB available RAM — 4 MB preferred.
  27. System 7.0 — System 7.5 preferred.
  28. QuickTime — Version 2.1 preferred.
  29. Sound Manager 3.1 is also preferable.

  32. Smoothest movie playing of any movie player because:
  33.     - PowerPC native application using QuickTime PowerPlug
  34.     - Sets monitor to best depth
  35.     - Loads movie into RAM
  36.     - ‘Prerolls’ movie — i.e. loads the start of a movie for smooth playback

  40.     - Blacks out all attached monitors

  87. When you register, you receive a registration number and a disk containing the latest version.  Registration:
  88.   • removes the Shareware notice at startup,
  89.   • enables you to save movies,
  90.   • enables you to copy movies between applications,
  91.   • enables you to open up to 20 movies at a time,
  92.   • enables you to build Movie-Applications from edited movies.
